See what you actually get done.
Most planners measure how much you add. kata measures how much you finish. The execution score is the share of planned tasks you finished this week — one honest number, shown under the week’s title, on your widgets and in Insights.

- Planned means tasks on a day this week; a repeat counts once for each day it falls on. Calendar events never count.
- Finished something without a day? It doesn’t touch the score — Where it went shows it as unplanned.
- A task carried in from last week stays a miss in last week, and skipping a day of a repeat takes that day out of the score.
A score that rewards planning what you’ll finish.
Week, month and six-month views show the score as bars, so you see the trend, not just the number. Your best streak counts the days on which every planned task was done. Where it went splits what you finished by project, area and Inbox, so you know which part of your life is quietly eating your week.
The Log keeps every finished task by the day you ticked it, and every project you complete — a paper trail for your own weekly review.
The details
- Execution score
- Planned tasks finished ÷ planned tasks, for the week. Shown under the week’s title, on your widgets and in Insights.
- Week · month · 6 months
- Switch the range to see the score as bars over time — seven weeks, four months or six — with the current one in coral.
- Streak
- Your best run of days, in the period on screen, on which every planned task was done. A day with nothing planned neither extends it nor breaks it.
- Activity
- What you finished each day, as a grid. The deeper the green, the more you finished, measured against your own busiest day.
- Where it went
- Everything you finished, split by project, area and Inbox, with how much of it was planned.
- The Log
- Every finished task, grouped by the day you ticked it, and every project you completed. Tap a row’s circle to put it back.
Questions about the execution score
Won’t a score make me plan fewer things?
That is partly the point: the score rewards planning what you will actually finish. Work you finish without planning it shows in Where it went, so it is on the record without moving the number.
Do repeating tasks count?
Yes. A repeat counts once for each day it falls on. Skipping a day takes that day out of the score, and changing or removing the repeat never rewrites a day you already ticked or skipped.
Is Insights private?
Completely. It is computed on your iPhone from your own data. Nothing is sent anywhere.
